British Home Children to Canada – Three Sisters from Kensington and Chelsea Union By Gloria F. Tubman
The culmination of over 30 years of research is complete with the publication of the book `British Home Children to Canada – Three Sisters from Kensington and Chelsea Union’. It is the true story of three sisters, one my Grandmother Annie Bond Hodgins, who emigrated to Canada through the Liverpool Sheltering Home to the Knowlton Distribution Home and were placed in Canadian households.
Two of the sisters spent time in households in Stafford and in Admaston townships. My grandmother lived in Pontiac County.
The book is published by Global Genealogy and can be ordered on-line: https://globalgenealogy.com/countries/canada/home-children/resources/101321.htm
