The pandemic put a halt to many of our live events and our members seems to enjoy attending our presentations via Zoom. But for those of you who would like to get together to discuss genealogy or anything else, Ottawa Branch will be holding our Annual Genealogy Picnic on Saturday 15 August from 11:30 to 2pm. This will be held on the “lawn” of the City of Ottawa Archives (100 Tallwood Ave), next to the parking lot. In case of inclement weather we can move inside the building. Our library on the third floor will also be open for those who want to research or browse. Bring a light lunch, a drink AND a lawn chair as there are few tables available. Bring any friends who are interested in genealogy.
