     Wilbert Gill Smith was born on 14 September 1878 at Greenbush, Leeds County, Ontario, Canada, son of Samuel Gill Smith and Mary Etta Olds.2,3 He was a tinsmith at Manitoba, Canada, on 11 February 1903.2 He married Clementina Billings, daughter of Bidwell Billings and Charlotte Amelia Kilborn, on 11 February 1903 at Lyn, Leeds County, Ontario, Canada.2,4 Wilbert Gill Smith was a merchant on 16 August 1911.4 He was a hardware merchant at Rouleau, Saskatchewan, Canada, on 1 June 1916.5 He was listed as the Head of the Household in the 1921 Canadian Census for Rouleau St, Rouleau, Moose Jaw District, Saskatchewan, Canada. The household included Clementina Smith, Bernice Billings Smith, Marshall Gill Smith, Wilfred Douglass Smith, Lawrence Wilbert Smith and Russell Harcourt Smith.6
Wilbert Gill Smith was a hardware merchant at Rouleau, Saskatchewan, Canada, on 11 June 1921.6 He gave the bride away at the wedding of Harold Thompson and Bernice Billings Trawick on 26 June 1939 at Rouleau United Church Manse, Rouleau, Saskatchewan, Canada.7,8 Wilbert Gill Smith was a hardware merchant before 1949.3 He was left a widower by the death of Clementina Billings on 18 May 1962.1 Wilbert Gill Smith lived at 509 Ebert St, Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada, on 10 March 1964.3 He died on 10 March 1964 at Royal Columbian Hospital, New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada, at age 853 and was buried on 12 March 1964 at Robinson Memorial Park, Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada.3,9
