Solomon Wood Jr was born circa 1810.4 He was the son of Solomon Wood and Anna Lakins.1 Solomon Wood Jr married Roxanne Kilborn, daughter of Hiram Kilborn and Sarah Billings, on 12 November 1833 at Brockville, Leeds County, Upper Canada (now Ontario), Canada.5,2,1 Solomon Wood Jr may have been the man who married Mary Elizabeth Lowery on 26 November 1844 at Houston, Harris County, Texas, USA. Solomon is supposed to have died in Texas (from an interview with his friend and fellow teacher Anson Cummings in an old Brockville paper and reprinted in a L&G newsletter some years ago.)6,7 This Solomon Wood Jr died after 1869 at Mexico.7
