Ottawa Branch of Ontario Ancestors thank the City of Ottawa Archive Services for their participation in Gene-o-Rama 2021

City of Ottawa Archives at 100 Tallwood Drive (plus the Rideau Archives and the Gloucester Research Centre) contains both civic government records of the City of Ottawa as well as photos, maps, architectural drawings, artifacts and a specialized reference library holding unique non-circulating resource materials on the history and development of Ottawa.  City of Ottawa Archives welcomes researchers with an interest in the history of Ottawa as well as genealogists.  The Central Archives is also home to several partner libraries:  Ottawa Branch OGS, Sir Guy Carleton Branch UELAC, the C. Robert Craig Memorial Library and the Eastern Ontario Outaouais Regional Council of the United Church of Canada Archives Network.  There is helpful staff to assist you in your research about Ottawa as well as the collections of their partner libraries.  The largest collection of research materials relating to genealogy in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States is also available at their Central location on Tallwood Drive.  For access during COVID-19, please refer to their website at  https://ottawa.ca/en/arts-heritage-and-events/city-ottawa-archives/collections-and-research
