Are you interested in your Scottish roots? In discovering who your Scottish ancestors were and how they lived? The BIFHSGO Scottish Genealogy Group is made up of people who share these interests. At our meetings, we share information and resources and discuss our successes and our brick walls. We all, beginners and experts alike, learn from and encourage each other. (Note: this is not an Ottawa Branch group, so please contact them for more details)

Are you interested in your Scottish roots? In discovering who your Scottish ancestors were and how they lived? The Scottish Genealogy Group is made up of people who share these interests. At our informal meetings, we share information and resources and discuss our successes and our brick walls. We all, beginners and experts alike, learn from and encourage each other.

Normally, meetings are held at the City of Ottawa Archives, Room 115, unless otherwise noted.  This is at 100 Tallwood Drive (southwest corner of the intersection of Meadowlands Drive and Woodroffe Avenue).  However, our meetings have moved online until further notice.
