Meetings are open to the public free of charge.

The guest speaker at the January meeting of the Irish Research Group will be Michael McBane who will be giving a presentation on his book:  Bytown 1847:  Elisabeth Bruyère and the Irish Famine Refugees.  His presentation will be followed by a discussion and those present will have the opportunity to purchase his book.  The meeting is in person only and will take place on Tuesday January 24th at 7 pm in Meeting Room C of the McNabb Community Centre, 180 Percy Street Ottawa.  As always, everyone is welcome to attend so feel free to bring a friend.
