We have held a Research Room at Gene-O-Rama for as long as I can remember but we no longer have space in the Confederation Education Centre. So, in cooperation with the Ottawa Public Library, we have moved the Research Room to a new place and new date.

The Research Room will be in the Nepean Centrepointe Library Computer Lab (basement) from 10:30am to 5:00pm on Saturday 29 Feb 2020, In addition to the Library’s access (Ancestry, Généalogie Québec, PRDH), we are arranging access that day to other paid sites, including Fold3, Newspapers.com, MyHeritage, FindMyPast, etc.

We’ll have volunteers to help you get on-line. Drop in any time during the day. This is free and open to the public but there are limited computers in the lab.
